We are thrilled to announce that we’re closing in on finalization of MiBAP 501(c)(6) legal formation and the documentation necessary to establish MiBAP as a nonprofit association! Thanks to the many providers and individual leaders that have helped to make this a reality. Some additional updates:

• The next meeting will be Monday, April 29 from 10:00am – 12:30pm, again at the Kelley-Cawthorne building in downtown Lansing. Agenda and further details to follow soon.
• Soon we will be sending each potential member a Membership Packet, to include the final, filed Association Bylaws, a Membership Information Sheet to include Dues Pricing and Benefits of Membership, a Board Member Nomination Form, and an agenda for the meeting.
• Board nomination forms will be due back to us no later than Wednesday, April 24.
• All eligible Michigan Providers and interested, potential affiliate members are invited to attend the April 29 meeting. All providers that have paid their dues on or before the April 29 meeting will be Founding Members and eligible to vote at the meeting. Paid members may also vote by proxy at the April 29 meeting. Other providers at the meeting may also vote, as long as they have the intent to join by May 31 2019. Ballots for Board membership will be distributed prior to the meeting; at a minimum, a vote and installation of Board members will occur at the April 29 meeting.

The May 2019 MiBAP meeting will be for Members only.
